The power of mental training

It is inevitable to think that you have to be very strong to climb vertical and overhanging walls and you’ll be right about it. However in our discipline, rock climbing the mind-body binomial is a key element.
Today I have done some conditioning training allowing my fingers to rest followed by an hour and a half of interval training on my bike.
But that’s not all.

Why not switch on the computer and while stretching watch some champions climbing in the Arco festival the Rock Master Festival?

We need to visualise and retain all that information to learn the way our body moves and dance when climbing.
Mental preparation for your next climb should be as important as your regular climbing session.
