The Melbourne Cup is Australia’s major thoroughbred horse race. Marketed as “the race that stops a nation”, it is a 3,200 metre race for three-year-olds and over. It is the richest “two-mile” handicap in the world, and one of the richest turf races. Conducted by the Victoria Racing Club on the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Victoria, the event starts at 3pm (daylight saving time) on the first Tuesday in November.
We are in Vicinity a very new and chic place in Sydney. The menu cost 85$ including a cocktel to start with.
The place is full and has got many screens to watch the race.
It’s the first year Vicinity is orgamaizing the race-brunch and it’s a great success.

I visited the NSW fire brigade training Center and they are shocked by what is happening in London with the brigade as we are. And it’s only the beginning of many changes to come.
